Services for Lynda Dalene (Smith) Windle, 71, of Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, grandchildren will officiate. Private family burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Windle died Friday, December 21, 2018 in Edmond. She was born May 14, 1947 in Edmond to Winford and Jewell Vanderhoof Smith . She graduated from Grant High School in Oklahoma City.

She married Edd Windle March 4, 1977 in Gainseville, TX. Mrs. Windle was a homemaker and a member of High Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edd, of the home; four children, Tim Ferree and wife Beverly, Dawn Alvarado and husband Rob, Crystal Ferree and husband Chris, and Bryan Windle; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sondra Luke; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Wayne, 87, passed away May 8, 1993 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 30, 1906 in Missouri to Wellington Dunn and Emma Simms. Mr. Dunn graduated from high school at Newkirk, Ok. He married Ruby Rice, August 3, 1932 in Sapulpa, Ok, to that union was born one daughter. He came with his family to Oklahoma City in 1940 to work for General Foods Corporation. He retired from that corporation 30 years later. He was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church for 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home; one daughter, Linda Provence of Duncan, Ok; 2 granddaughters, Susan Routh of Muskogee, Ok and Kristy Huffman of OKC; 1 great granddaughter, Kayla Malynn Huffman of OKC.
