HELEN DECKER LANDES

“Eye has not seen and ear has no heard...all that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Experiencing that preparation is Helen Decker Landes, 85, who entered the Lord’s presence Thursday, Jan. 12, 1989, from her residence at Sunnyside Presbyterian Home in Harrisonburg.

She was born Nov. 6, 1903 in Philadelphia, Pa., where she resided until her move to Charlottesville in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Landes, in 1972 and is survived by her daughter, Margaret L. Emich of Lakewood, Col.; a son, William G. Landes of Charlottesville; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Margaret D. Mitchell of Philadelphia.

Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, 70 Lake St., Chicago, Ill. 60601, Radio Bible Class, Grand Rapids, Mich., 49555-0001 or Focus on the Family, Pomona, Cal., 91799.

A memorial service is planned at Sunnyside Home.
