He enlisted in the Navy and served a tour in the Pacific during WW II. He earned a BS in Engineering from USC and worked for JPL in Pasadena for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Ann, three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Vicki Forney, James and Mary Forney, and David and Laura Forney, and nine grandchildren.
