Mrs. Flo Irene Riggs 83, of Harrisonburg, Va., formerly of this place died at 7 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of a son, Mason C. Riggs, Harrisonburg, after an illness of 10 years.

Mrs. Riggs was the widow of John B. Riggs, former merchant and miller of this place, who preceded her in death in 1951.

She was born Aug. 5, 1874, in Newburg, daughter of the late John and Sarah Vandersall Clippinger. She was a member of the First Church of God, this place, and a church Sunday School class.

She is survived by two sons, Mason, and Leslie Riggs, Hagerstown; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hess funeral home, 58 E. King St., with the Rev. M. C. Manning officiating. Burial will be made in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
