Hazel Maxine West, 83, Springfield, passed away at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, in Cox South. Hazel was born April 22, 1920, in Springfield, the daughter of Ithamer Sank and Phoebe (Snapp) Seiler. She was a retired laundry worker. She attended Strafford Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, reading, shopping, ceramics, crafts and was an excellent seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Glenn; a son, James Donald; two grandsons, Michael Sean and Brian Patrick; two sisters and their husbands, Fern and Raymond Painter and Betty and Jack Little; a brother, Ernest C. (Collie) Seiler; and a sisterin-law, Mildred Siler. Survivors include three sons and their wives, Harry Lee and Shirley West of Garland, Texas, Roger Glen and Judy West of Nashville, Tenn., and Phillip and Donna West of Republic; two sisters and their husbands, Peggy and John Adams of Peoria, Ill., and Ethel and Jerry Hilton of Strafford; a brother, Phillip Siler of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Williams of Springfield; nine grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family extends special thanks to the Ozark Dialysis Center, Springfield, Mo., and Dialysis Center in Terrell, Texas, and The Woodland Manor, where she resided the last six months of her life. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, in Thieme-ShadelHicks Funeral Service at Rivermonte, Springfield. Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Strafford.

Funeral services for Betty Pauline Little, 78, of Nixa, Missouri, were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2002, at Stumpff Chapel-South, in Kimberling City, Missouri, with Jerry Hilton (brother-in-law) officiating. Burial was in Rice Cemetery, Reeds Spring, Missouri. Visitation was from 4:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2002, at the funeral home.
She died on March 13, 2002, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
Betty Pauline Little was born in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Ithamer & Phoebe (Snapp) Siler/Seiler. She was a homemaker and a life-long resident of the area. She had a passion for birds, having many parakeets throughout her life.
Survivers include one brother, Phillip Siler of Springfield, Missouri; three sisters: Hazel West of Springfield, Missouri, Ethel Hilton of Strafford, Missouri; and Peggy Adams of Bartonville, Illinois, and one grandson, Robert Little of Ozark, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Little, and her son, Robert Gene (Bobby) Little.
She was buried in March 2002 in Rice Cemetery, Stone Co., MO, Find A Grave Memorial# 61114388.

Harry Lee West, 69 of Garland, Texas, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010, at 11:24 a.m. in his home surrounded by family and friends after complications from a stroke he suffered in April 2009. Lee was born September 4, 1940, to Harry and Hazel West in Strafford, Mo. He was the oldest of four boys. Lee and Shirley Trogdon were united in marriage December 26, 1958, in Strafford. To this union three children were born; LeAnne Long of Springfield, Mo., Gregory West of Mesquite, Texas, and Kristopher West of Dallas, Texas. Lee was an avid bowler in the Dallas, Texas metroplex for the last 40 years and was a 20-year member of the PBA. He also was a member of SASBA and enjoyed bowling in the many tournaments they held throughout the United States. He also achieved perfection on the lanes by bowling numerous 300's. Lee was well respected by all those that knew him and will be greatly missed by family, friends and acquaintances alike. Lee was preceded in death by his mother and father and one brother Jim West. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley; daughter, LeAnne and her husband, Todd, their daughter, Cheyenne; son, Gregory West and fiancA©e, Eden; son, Kristopher and his wife, Tamika and their sons, Alexander and Nathan; a brother, Phillip and wife, Donna and family of Republic; and a brother, Roger and wife Judy and family of Nashville, Tenn. Lee's time here on earth was way too short but during his time here he represented himself well by being a devoted husband, great father and wonderful poppy to his three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alexander, and Nathan, Lee was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for the past 40 years and is also survived by many-many spiritual brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 22 at 2 p.m. in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home 1635 N. Benton, Springfield, Mo., with interment to follow at the Danforth Cemetery.
