Jo-Ann E. (Myers) Miller, age 74, of New Paris, OH, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her home. Born July 16, 1935 in Brookville, OH, she was a daughter of the late John Harold & Thelma Arlene (Fasick) Myers. Jo-Ann loved to play Yahtzee and was an avid animal lover. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Paris. She was a retired waitress having worked at the Countryside Inn and Michelle's Place both in New Paris. She is also preceded in death by sisters Bettie E. Shellabarger and twin sister Janice A. Arnett: and husband Ramon E. Miller.
She loved all her family and friends. Survived by daughter Darlene Miller & Chelse Rohrer of Brookville; son David Miller & Kim Pendergast of Fairborn, OH: grandchildren Ashley & Kyle Otherson of Eaton, OH; Amber Miller & Garrett Shillingburg of West Manchester, OH; Brittany Miller of Lewisburg, OH and Joshua Miller of West Manchester: 5 great grandchildren: special nieces Lisa Baker of New Paris; Christine Wright and Gloria Applegate of New Madison, OH; and Becky Fitzpatrick of Brookville: along with other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the First Baptist Church - 6751 SR 320 - New Paris. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Pastor Reggie Osborne presiding. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center, West Alexandria, OH. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
She was buried in May 2010 in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, Preble Co., OH, Findagrave #51908066.
