"Sallie Chism"Sallie Chism, age 27 years, died at 12:30 Monday night at the home, 913 South Boundary, following childbirth several days ago. Mrs. Chism was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hoskins of southeast of Lawton, and a sister of Mrs. Art DeTamble. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 5:30 at the cemetery. Deceased leaves a husband and a four-day-old baby. (The Lawton Constitution, Tues. eve., Apr. 9, 1918, p. 1).

Edwin Kimball Neville Jr., 73, was welcomed by the Lord, our God, Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Monday in Fort Worth Presbyterian Church, 6251 Oakmont Trail, Fort Worth 76132. A reception will follow at the church. Military salute and graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Ed will lie in state beginning 11 a.m. Saturday through Sunday. Pallbearers: Dub Jordan, Jason Mills, Kurt van Hofwagen, Andy Warren, Steve White, Brett Wyatt. Ed was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Dothan, Ala., the son of Edwin Kimball Neville and Sarah Katharine Daly Neville. He graduated from Marion Military Institute in Marion, Ala. He earned a bachelor of science degree in commerce from TCU and completed his master's degree in hospital administration. Ed married the love of his life, Suzanne Sawyer, and they reared their three boys in Fort Worth. He loved being outside in this beautiful world the Lord created evidenced by his Eagle Scout rank and his years of activity in the Boy Scouts. He loved sports, especially his Horned Frogs, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a sweet and gentle family man, always generous with his time, and willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. Ed was a devout Christian always extremely active in the church beginning as a youth with Billy Graham Ministries and as a chaplain at the Union Gospel Mission delivering the Gospel to the homeless for years. He found his calling in witnessing the Gospel to inmates of the Tarrant County Jail every Tuesday evening and volunteering as a chaplain at Sanders Estes Unit on Wednesday evenings. Survivors: Wife, Suzanne; their children and wives, Brent and Sheila Morford, Houston and Kathryn Morford and Trey and Sara Neville; beloved grandchildren, Katie and Sawyer Morford, Hagen, Zach and Grace Morford, Hudson and John Robert Neville; sisters, Alan and husband, Lee Clay, and Kaki and husband, Jerry Rottler; nieces, Courtney Breeding, Charlotte Buell and Mary Weeks Lytwn and their loving families. Rejoice in the fact that he is at home with the Father!
