Lawton - CLARISSA MORFORD, 66, of Lawton, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at her home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church of Lawton, with the Rev. Al Potts, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under direction of Becker Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1941, in Ryan, to Percy and Sylvia Reynolds Ryan. She was a licensed practical nurse and the office manager for her husband's dental office. She married Dr. Robert B. Morford III in Lawton on Oct. 17, 1969.

Survivors include her husband of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Tina Hobbs of Waurika; a daughter, Dena Griffith of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren, Julie Hobbs, Justin Hobbs, Jason Hobbs, Allison Griffith, Melissa Griffith and Dwight Griffith; her mother, Sylvia Ryan of Duncan; a brother, Albert Lee Ryan of Shreveport, La.; and two sisters, Judy Cook of DeSoto, Texas, and Eulene Shaw of Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her father, and two sons, Kevin Hobbs and Robert B. Morford IV.

She was buried in July 2007 in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Comanche Co., OK.
