Funeral Services For Mrs. Hayes Held Monday
Mrs. Doretta Regina Hayes passed away Saturday at 9:40 a. m. in St. Francis hospital where she had been patient for two and a half weeks. She had been ill the past two years.
She was born in Richwoods township July 5, 1893, and was the daughter of Patrick J. and Mary A. Marie Hogan. She was married to Charles F. Hayes February 6, 1918.
Besides being active in the Altar and Rosary society of St. Philomena's church, she was a member of the Peoria County Home Bureau and of the Alta and Peoria County Grange.
Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Eloise Rudoff of R. R. 3 Peoria, Mrs. Louise Gardner, Mrs. Francis Lewis and Miss Kathleen Hayes, all of Dunlap, 11 grandchildren; a brother, Robert A. Hogan of Peoria and three sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hayes were held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Davidson Funeral Home to St. Philomena's church in Peoria at 9:30 a.m. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.
She was buried in October 1956 in Saint Marys Cemetery, West Peoria, Peoria Co., IL, Findagrave #91467291.

Born May 8, 1924, in Washburn to Ernest and Irene Bruder Lewis, he married Frances Hayes on Dec. 23, 1943, in Princeville. She survives.
