Note: Evelyn H. Knox, born 1915 and died 1 OCT 2008 at Williams, Josephine County, Oregon is shown in two online genealogies as Evelyn King, married to Erwin Howard Knox. However neither genealogy provides good sources to support this assertion, and one has obvious errors in the sourcing. I cannot find any solid evidence of her existence after the 1920 census. Inasmuch as her father kept daughters Velpha and Irma with him and put the boys in a children's home, as of the 1930 census, Evelyn probably died sometime in the 1920s. DLB 2019.
