BRANSON S. MILLER

The body of Branson S. Miller, 83, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edmonson T. Wilson, 161 Arden road, Clintonville, from complications, Monday morning, will be taken to Newark, Ohio, his former home, for burial. Wednesday at 2 o'clock. He is survived by a son, J. R. Miller, a daughter, Mrs. E. T. Wilson, and three grandchildren. He was a member of the 78th O.V.I., Co. B. The body will be shipped to Newark, Ohio, for burial by the Glenn L. Myers Co.

Note: Every online genealogy that shows his parents includes Branson S. Miller as a child of Corbin and Amanda (Fravel) Miller, however I have not found a single documentary record to substantiate this relationship. Neither the 1850 nor 1860 census shows a "Branson" in Corbin Miller's family (by 1860 he could reasonably have been working elsewhere). Instead, the next son after Felix in the Corbin Miller family, born about 1840-41, was listed as Lionel S. Miller, age 9, on the 1850 census and also listed on the 1860 census, age 19. Possibly Branson was originally named Lionel by his parents (Corbin had a younger brother named Lionel, born about 1837), and disliked the name so much he changed it as soon as he was able to do so -- no record after the 1860 census shows a Lionel Miller of the correct age, and no online genealogies show any later presence of a matching Lionel Miller. His next of kin is listed as Metta B. Wilson. The 1935 Florida state census reveals this Robert Murch Wilson to have been the son of Jack and Metta B. Wilson, living in Duval County in 1935. There is considerable confusion in the online records between these two individuals. DLB 2019.1

He married Ernestine E. Hill, daughter of Ernest Henry Hill and Stella Maud Dorworth, on 23 December 1926 in Franklin Co., OH. Robert M. Wilson and Ernestine E. Hill were divorced before July 1929. He died on 23 July 1986 in Dade Co., FL, Florida death index.

Craig P. Ebersbach, age 57, of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Sigler and father, Phillip Lowell Ebersbach, both of Columbus, OH.

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Susi Johns Ebersbach; children, Benjamin Phillip Ebersbach, Matthew William Ebersbach, Richard Lowell Ebersbach, Hayley (Ryan) Santana, Craig Phillip Ebersbach, and Phillip (Heather) Ebersbach; grandchildren, Aiden and Anna Belle Santana; father & mother-in-law, Bill and Coila Johns; sister, Lynn (Mike) Neff; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
