Archie H. Stott, 74, of North Miami Beach, Fl. passed away Saturday, a resident of Florida for 25 years; formerly of LaGrange; survived by his wife Ruth of LaGrange; son Lawrence A. Stott of LaGrange; daughters Nancy S. Kelly of Miami Beach, FL., Janice S. Pratt of LaGrange, and Joanne S. Olson of Pleasanton, CA; his brother Herbert S. Stott of Chicago; two sisters Annette Isenberger of Lanark, IL, and Mary Paschall of Wheaton, IL; eight grandchildren, Karen, Stephen, Jason, Andrew, James, Jeffery, Victoria and Tracy; one great-grandchild, Patricia. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. Ashland Ave., LaGrange, with interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to The Kidney Foundation of South Florida, 1250 MW 7 St., Miami, in lieu of flowers.
NOTE: The middle initial "H" was apparently appropriated by Archie from his father's name. He was using the "H" as early as June 1958, when his name appears that way on an Immigration and Naturalization Service passenger list from Havana Cuba to Miami, Florida (ancestry.com). DLB 2020.
