Bonnie Jean Martin, 77, Blue Springs, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Martin was born Feb. 5, 1926, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., to John and Flora (Tallman) Stockstill. She was a homemaker and a member of Susquehanna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Alice and Minnie Snyder and Lillian Jackson.

Her survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth C. Martin, of the home; two sons, Dennis Martin and wife, Rhonda, Independence, and Cecil Martin and wife, Helen, Ferndale, Wash.; one daughter, Cheryl Martin, Independence; and 12 grandchildren, Jamie, Rebecca, Kenneth, Derek, Kyle, Courtney and Andrew Martin and Petrick, Dominic, Quentin, Martha and Rosie Silvas.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Noland Road Chapel, Independence. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home, 11300 St. Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, Mo. 63044.
