Joyce Evelyn Bishop, age 87, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Thursday August 17, 2017 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born in Miamisburg, Ohio on January 15, 1930 to Dale and Dortha (Fox) Lang. Joyce was a member of the Carlisle Lions and New Jersey Presbyterian Church. She was previously employed with Franklin Chronicle as a proof reader.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 66 years Donald E. Bishop, two daughters, Janese (William) Griffin and Brenda (Bill) Wilson; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, also a sister, Donna (Kenny) Williams. Joyce was blessed with many wonderful extended family members, friends and neighbors.
Funeral services at Anderson Funeral Home 40 North Main Street Springboro with Don Clarkson officiating. Burial in New Jersey Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
She was buried in August 2017 in New Jersey Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, Warren Co., OH, Findagrave #182489527.

BISHOP, Donald Earl Age 92, of Franklin, Ohio, died Saturday May 12, 2018 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on March 13, 1926 to Howard and Anna (Deardoff) Bishop. Donald served in the US Army during WW II where he participated in the Battle of the Bulge, was a member of Carlisle Lions Club, Eastern Star Lodge #55 F&AM, Shrine Club, and New Jersey Presbyterian Church. He was employed with Miami Conservancy for 25 years and retired in 1986. He was also an avid woodworker but his true love was farming. He enjoyed a life full of family and friends having never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Bishop, mother, Anna Mary Bishop, wife, Joyce Bishop, sister, Joan Perry, sister, Lois Dyas, sister, Esther Puls, and son, Paul V. Bishop. Donald is survived by his two daughters, Brenda (Billy) Wilson, Janese (David) Griffin; five grandchildren, Emily Griffin Bowman, LeeAnna Wilson Dawson, Greg Griffin, Daniel Wilson, and Douglas Wilson; and seven great grandchildren.
