William Crockett Mahin, well known here, being cashier of the Hawthorne State Bank, died Tuesday at his home at Hawthorne, following a short illness. The deceased was forty-four years of age, and was prominent in the Pythian Lodge, as well as in business circles.

The remains were sent to Jacksonville for interment yesterday, the services being in charge of the Pythian Lodge. -Times-Herald Obituary, Friday, 23 Sep. 1921.
