Daughter of Henry & Sarah Evans Sweitzer; second wife of Elias Edward Davidson, married on January 27, 1909 in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, PA.
She was a native of Pennsylvania and a member of Englewood United Methodist Church.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thora O. Duckwitz of Englewood, OH, and Mrs. Jean Smith of Marion, SD; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Sweitzer of Ligonier, PA, and a sister, Mrs. Gussie Dea of New Kensington, PA.
Funeral services: Thursday, November 12, 1970, graveside at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Arlene Thietje, 89 died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Tieszen Memorial Home, Marion. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the First Church of Monroe with burial in the Monroe Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7pm Monday evening at the Tieszen Home Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home.
Arlene Vera Thietje was born on October 10, 1928 near Winner, SD to Ferd and Anna (Mahoney) Brunmeier. After graduating from Winner High School she was united in marriage to Ernest Thietje on June 1, 1946. They farmed in the Winner area before moving to Monroe in 1956. She ran Ernie’s Place for a number of years and was the city of Monroe finance officer. She was a member of the VFW Auxilary, attended First Church of Monroe, loved to play bingo and bowl. She has been a resident of the Tieszen Home since 2009.
Grateful for having shared her life are her 3 children, Wayne (Sandy LaPoint), Monroe, Daryl (Addamaine), New Prague, MN, and Karlene (Leon) Schoenwald, Monroe; 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a sister Vivian Ruhkamp, Yuma, AZ; and 2 sister in laws, Twila Brunmeier, Winner and Clara Bailey, Powell, WY. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 2004, and a brother Leonard.

Lillian Buller, 94, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the United Methodist Church, Parker with burial at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker.
Lillian Henrietta Heng was born on August 8, 1915 near Buffalo Trading Post, SD to John and Mary (Kolowehn) Heng.
She grew up near Buffalo Trading Post and attended country school.
On Easter Sunday, April 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Lowell L. Buller at Parker.
They farmed south of Parker before moving northeast of Parker in 1945 where she lived the rest of her life. Her husband Lowell died in 1990. She was a very active member of the EUB Church and the WSWS, Women Service for World Society.
Grateful for having shared her life are 6 sons, Richard (Bev) Buller, Elkton, Kenneth Ray Buller, Parker, Robert (Inez) Buller, Sioux Falls, Keith Leroy Buller, Sioux Falls, David Louis Buller, Parker, and Dale Buller, Parker; 4 daughters, Mary (Les) Rensink, Freeman, Diane Grave, Harrisburg, Virginia (Tom) Henriksen, Sioux Falls, and Elaine Tieszen, Sioux Falls; 26 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Steinhauer, Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Glen Buller, a daughter Shirley Landon, a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Harland Smith, a grandson Craig Buller, and a granddaughter, Ruth Rensink.
