Dwight M. Jury was born September 16, 1909, in the Holland community, south of Abilene. He died at Abilene Memorial Hospital.

He and his wife, Clara, spent most of their married life in California, where Mr. Jury was a cement mason. They returned to Abilene in 1975. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors included his wife, Clara; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Jury and Mrs. Charlotte Walthall; two brothers, John and Paul; and two sisters, May Botz and Ella Poister.



He was buried in April 1983 in Newbern Cemetery, Holland, Dickinson Co., KS, Findagrave #53955422.

Dacy M. Hauser was born about 1905 in Kansas.1 She married Dwight M. Jury. She died after 1941 in Los Angeles Co. (probably), CA, A "Daisy" M. Jury whose SSAN was assigned in Colorado, with a birth date about the same year as Dacy Hauser, also lived in Los Angeles, and the online records are somewhat commingled. The last city directory listing online for Dacy Jury with husband Dwight was 1941. Later city directory listings and voter registrations for Daisy Jury may or may not be the same person. From his obituary, we know that Dwight Jury's wife later in life was Clara, and that "he spent most of his married life in California", so probably Dacy died or the marriage broke up around the time of WW II. DLB 2020.
