Opie E. Woodruff, 86, 136 Hillside Drive, Jonesborough, died Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a Washington County native and a son of the late John C. and Jane Sims Woodruff.
Mr. Woodruff was a retired hydraulics specialist for Martin Marietta and Goodyear Aerospace.
He was an Army veteran.
Mr. Woodruff was a member of Johnson City Masonic Lodge No. 0486 F&AM and the Nolichucky-Grandview Chapter No. 194 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
He was a member of New Victory Baptist Church.
Mr. Woodruff was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Florence Keefauver Woodruff; one daughter, Delores Daniels, New Bern, N.C.; two sons, Billie Woodruff, San Antonio, and David Woodruff, Jonesborough; one sister, Annette Cloyd, Telford; two brothers, Charlie Woodruff, Johnson City, and Thomas Woodruff, Hickory, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Opie E. Woodruff, 84, 134 Hillside Drive, Jonesborough, will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Monday, November 27, 1995, from the Dillow-Taylor funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jon Rogers and the Rev. Albert South officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted at 8 p.m. by Lodge No. 0486 F&AM. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1995, at Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers, who are requested to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Monday, will be Bob Keplinger, Jimmie Furches, Calvin Furches, Roy Cloyd, Dalfert Woodruff, Oscar Woodruff, Daryl Woodruff and Bill Woodruff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 1995. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, Jonesborough, is in charge of the arrangements.

Billie E. Woodruff of Wichita Falls, TX, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to be with his Lord, July 1, 2010. He was surrounded by those that love him.
A son of the late Opie and Florence (Keefauver) Woodruff, he was born April 25, 1939 in Jonesboro, TN. Billie's love of airplanes and flying led him to join the Civil Air Patrol while still in high school and on November 11, 1956 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. In addition to multiple stateside airbases, he was stationed in Turkey, Okinawa, Germany, and served in both Korea and Vietnam. After retiring in April 1979, Billie continued serving his country by working as a civilian in flight simulator operations at Columbus AFB, MS; Randolph AFB, TX; Vance AFB, OK; Laughlin AFB, TX; and finally as the Site Manager at Sheppard AFB, TX.
Billie married the love of his life, Lynda Rigsby, of Manchester, Alabama on June 5, 1964. They had three children: Janet Gresham, Scott Woodruff and Tracy Merritt. Billie had many talents and pastimes including painting, drawing, and woodworking, and took great pleasure in creating special hand-made gifts for his children and grandchildren. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS where he served as a Deacon and formed many lasting friendships.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents.

Francesco Pangallo Sr., age 64, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away peacefully with all of his children by his side at Rivercrest Hospital, Mishawaka on October 6, 2011 at 10:20 p.m.
Frank came to South Bend with the support of his cousin, Joe Germano, to work and live the American dream. He became a citizen and loved it here. He worked for Harold Medow Dodge (where he found his love for cars), Beck Welding, General Sheet Metal and AM General , retiring from AM General after thirty plus years. Frank was a member of the UAW and the Sacred Heart League
Frank loved gardening, canning, making his own wine, garage sales, tinkering with things, and loved helping others.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Pangallo; grandmother, Elisabetta Sergi; and nephew Luigi Pangallo, all in Italy. He is also preceded in death by a father-in-law, William R. Martin, Jr.; and mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fotia.
Frank is survived by his mother, Rosina (Aspomonte) Pangallo of Italy; step father Francesco Pangallo, brother and sister-in-law, Giuseppe and Lisa Pangallo; niece, Rosina, and her family; and a nephew, Antonio Pangallo, and many cousins all of Italy.
He is also survived by his seven children. Three sons from his first marriage to Bettie F. Pangallo: Anthony R. (Suzanne) Pangallo of Mishawaka, William J. "Joe" (Tonia) Pangallo of South Bend, and Francesco "Frankie" Pangallo, Jr. of Mishawaka. Four children from his second marriage to Maria (Fotia) (Pangallo) Perkins; Katharina Pangallo of South Bend, Rosina Pangallo and Elisabetta Pangallo both of Mishawaka, and Joseph Rocco "JoJo" Pangallo of South Bend.
Also surviving are six grandchildren: Brandon M. Pangallo, Coty A. Pangallo, Kyle R. Pangallo, Keaton J. Pangallo, Tiler J. Pangallo, and Tailer F. Pangallo; a mother-in-law, Mary A. Martin; two sisters-in-law, Billye L. Purdy and Barbara A. (Robert) Martin-Jordan; niece, Melissa Burger; great niece, Christina Abarca; great nephew, Michael Abarca; and numerous cousins in South Bend, Mishawaka, and Italy.
Frank was loved by his family and will be missed!
May you walk the path before you with angels by your side, and may the peace and love of God within your heart abide.
Memorial services for Francesco Pangallo, Sr. will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 15th in Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend 46615. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until time of services on Saturday. Private burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.

He was born on April 3, 1969, in South Bend, IN, to Francesco Sr. and Bettie F. (Martin) Pangallo. He was united in marriage on May 13, 1993 (sic), in South Bend, IN, to the former Suzanne M. Kobek. Tony is survived by his wife, Suzanne M. Pangallo; two sons, Brandon M. Pangallo and Coty A. Pangallo, both of Mishawaka, IN; granddaughter, Macie K. Pangallo; his mother, Bettie Pangallo; siblings, William J. Pangallo of South Bend, IN, Francesco Pangallo Jr. of Mishawaka, IN, Melissa D. Burger of South Bend, IN, Joseph Rocco Pangallo of Mishawaka, IN, Katherina J. Singleton of South Bend, IN, Rosina M. Pangallo of Mishawaka, IN, and Elisabetta M. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN.
