Albert J. Smith, 84, passed away Feb. 14, 2017. He was born Apr. 29, 1932 in Olton, Texas to W.H. and Vivian Smith. He married Ruby D. Scheurer in Pueblo, Co. on July 30, 1952.
Mr. Smith grew up learning how to farm and raise different livestock, which is where his love for wearing overalls came about. He enjoyed fishing and doing anything mechanical.
Albert joined the Army from 1949-1952. He worked as a police officer at Lubbock Police, and then spent 27 years at Lubbock County Sherriff's Dept.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Smith; children, Paul Smith and Evelyn Kirksey; 4 grandchildren, Garrett, Sarah, Jacob and Jordan; and 4 great-grandchildren.

John H. Koncilja Sr. departed to eternal life on Aug. 6, 2002, at the age of 83. He was a longtime Pueblo contractor, having retired in 1980. John was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Giordano in 1998; his parents, a brother and three sisters. Mr. Koncilja is survived by sons, John Koncilja Jr. of Pueblo and Tom (Maura) Koncilja of Elizabeth, Colo.; and his daughters, Linda (Guy) Farbo and Deb (Rick) Sagona, both of Pueblo. In addition, John is survived by his sister, Rosemarie (Albert) Terlep; brothers, Joseph Koncilia, Felix (Ann) Koncilja and Herb (Helen) Koncilia, all of Pueblo. Mr. Koncilja had 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John will be sadly missed by his family and friends. At his request, cremation, with no viewing or services. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice in John's memory.
He was buried in August 2002 in Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo, Pueblo Co., CO, Findagrave #100292256.
