Paul Edward Reed, 70, died peacefully on Feb. 15, 2014, at Redlands Community Hospital.

He was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Ohio to Donald and Ruth Reed, he was a resident of Calimesa.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-64.

Paul was employed in management and as a maintenance man for over 30 years. He enjoyed gambling, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved big band and country music.

Paul is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Reed of Calimesa; son Steven Reed of Ohio; daughter Debra Reed Wagner of Calimesa; grandchildren Ashley, Jared, Devynn, Faith and Dexter; siblings David, Margaret, Patricia and Sharon — all of Ohio and Roger of Arizona.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Yucaipa Christian Church fellowship hall at 12954 Bryant St.

Published by the Yucaipa/Calimesa News Mirror on February 27, 2014.

He was buried in 2014 in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside Co., CA, Findagrave #180218003.
