Mary Margaret "Monie" Liebmann, was born August 20, 1921 to Cecilia (McGinnis) and Roy Doran at Highland Park, Illinois. She departed this life on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her home in Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 91.
Monie graduated from Balboa High School in Central America. She was united in marriage with Bernard Joseph Liebmann on May 30, 1945 at Green Bay. This union was blessed with ten children. They made their home in Green Bay until moving to Perry, Iowa in 1975. In the early 1980's they moved to California. Her husband, Bernie, died on December 31, 1999. Monie remained in her home at Calabasas until August of 2001, when she moved to Red Cloud, Nebraska where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Her personality was pervaded by a strong faith and an immeasurable love for her family. She was patient, kind, accommodating and grateful to everyone she met. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, and music. Her greatest love and enthusiasm in life was for her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bernie; a daughter, Patricia Ann in 1966; a son, Paul Joseph (P.J.) in 1988; her twin sister, Mary Rita Vercauteren and husband Rusty; brothers-in-law, Don Beno and Herb Liebmann, and sister-in-law, Catherine Heyrman.
Left to treasure her memory are her children Tom and Donna Liebmann of Oak Park, California; Jackie and Neal Stephany of Nashua, New Hampshire; Steve and Marianne Liebmann of Bozeman, Montana; Teresa (Lu) and Dayre Williams of Red Cloud, Nebraska; Gary and Cathie Liebmann of Eagan, Minnesota; Jean and Earl Moench of Wilton, Iowa; Mark Liebmann and friend, Debbie Beaty of Wilton, Iowa, and Kurt and Celina Liebmann of Valencia, California. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister Katie Beno of Green Bay; two brothers, Roy Doran and Dolly of Green Bay and Joe Doran and wife Kathleen of Lambard, Illinois; sister-in-law, Marie Liebmann of Luxemberg, Wisconsin; brother-in-law Don Liebmann and wife Muriel of Green Bay and brother-in-law Don Heyrman of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment was in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
She was buried in September 2012 in Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, Green Bay, Brown Co., WI, Findagrave #97067789.
Mary Margaret Doran was also known as "Monie" Doran. She lived in 2000 in Calabasas, Los Angeles Co., CA.

George William Berkstresser, 85, passed away on January 31, 2014 at the Colorado State Veterans Center at Homelake.
He was born on November 28, 1928 in Sioux City IA to Dr. C. F. Berkstresser and Julia Johnson Berkstresser. George graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City IA and spent one year at Iowa University before joining the US Army where he was stationed at Camp Detrick in Maryland. After his service with the US Army George returned to Sioux City. During the years in Sioux City, he developed his life long love of trains and railroads. He was also employed as a purchasing agent for the Methodist Hospital. During this employment he met his second love, a student nurse, Alta Clausen, from Genoa, Nebraska. Just as Alta was graduating from her nursing education the two were married on August 13, 1955. To this union were born their three children Mark Berkstresser, Cheryl Berkstresser Wells and Charles Berkstresser.
His interest in science grew and he enjoyed discussing various areas of scientific knowledge. After a few years of exploring the medical positions, George finally, listened to family and friends who said he seemed to be a "born teacher." He decided to answer that call when being told that Culbertson, Nebraska school board were searching for a high school science teacher. He started that year, on an emergency certificate and began taking teaching courses at the University of Northern Colorado. He later earned his masters in education from the University of Northern Colorado. His teaching career spanned 29 years. In 1964 he started teaching science at Sargent High School. He retired from teaching in 1970. After retiring, he continued with his interests in railroading, travel, science and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Alta Berkstresser, children Mark Berkstresser and his wife Tina Berkstresser, Cheryl Berkstresser Wells her husband John Wells and their children Brian Wells and Kristen Wells, Charles Berkstresser and his partner Fernando Guerrero.
George and the family has chosen cremation and there will be there will be no memorial service at this time. There will be a celebration of George's life combined with the 80th birthday celebration for his wife, Alta on April 19th at Sargent Community Church. A memorial fund is being set up at Beaver Creek Christian Camp for the Berkstresser Lodge in South Fork Colorado. Jim Moorman was born to James Bolling Moorman, Sr. and Elizabeth Naylor Moorman.
He attended the University of Colorado and graduated in 1946. Then, he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.
He married Virginia McCammon in 1952 in Denver.
He founded James Moorman Construction Company and later worked for several other construction companies in the Denver area.
He enjoyed camping, hiking and exploring Colorado history with family over many years. He enjoyed sports and played on recreational volleyball and basketball teams.
James is survived by his daughters Ann (Dean) of Ukiah, California, and Janet of Parker, Colorado, his son Tom (Betsy) of Ames, Iowa, and grandchildren Leslie of Washington, DC, and Zach of Chicago, Illinois.
