TAYLORS -- Charles Edward Reed, 66, of 651 Strange Road, No. 33, died July 14, 1991, following a period of declining health.
Before his retirement in 1984, he was a supervisor with Jeffrey Dresser Industries. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his mother, Marie Gaston Reed Foose of Greer; his wife, Elenore Wendell Reed of the home; a daughter, Barbara Schultz of Wellington, Ohio; and two sons, Charles Thomas Reed of Pensacola, Fla., and Donald Edward Reed of Orlando, Fla.
Private memorial services will be held Tuesday at the Mackey Mortuary.
The family is at the home.

G. Robert Moore, 56, of Warrick Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, October 12, 1998.
He was born January 10, 1943, in Washington, a son of Waunita G. Wendell Moore of Washington and the late Paul Leslie “Chub” Moore.
Mr. Moore was a member of First Christian Church of Washington, where he had served as an elder and taught Sunday School.
He was an attorney and a member of American Bar Association.
Mr. Moore was a 1960 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. He received a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a captain at Camp Lejeune.
He was a 1967 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Carol Ann Maddock Moore, whom he married December 28, 1965, a son, Aaron Maddock Moore of Washington; a daughter Elizabeth Gribben Matush of Perryopolis; and a grandson, Austin Alexander Moore of Washington.
Deceased is a brother of Paul Edward Moore, who died in 1963.

Dorothy J. Wendell, 85, Napoleon, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
She was born in Moundsville, West Virginia, on September 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Dexter and Beulah (Emery) Wilson. In 1941, she married Carl Wendell, who preceded her in death in 2002. Dorothy had worked at the Defiance Holiday Inn and Lanes, the Zeller Co. and United Telephone Co. in Defiance. She enjoyed her family and cooking.
Surviving are sons, Marty Wendell of Defiance and Bill (Cindy) Wendell of Defiance; daughters, Mavis (Pete) Kime of Defiance and Pennie (Tom) Howe of Napoleon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Ted Wilson.
Private services for the family will be at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance, at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21, with Rev. Tim Reynolds officiating. Friends are invited to call Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance County.

Services for Dorothy J. Wendell were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. Tim Reynolds. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Andy Kime, Kyle Kime, Steve Wendell, Joe Wendell, Brian Anderson, Todd Wendell and Darci Boyd.
