As John said on June 25th, "We have to take what we are given with grace and acceptance. Nothing is promised or given freely. It just isn't. I don't know how else to say it". He and his family have been so grateful for the support and encouragement of other family members and friends. John will be greatly missed.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society, if desired.
