MRS. FRANCES E. HUTTON
KINGSPORT – Mrs. Frances Euretha Hutton, 72, Kingsport, died Tuesday in Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Gray, but lived in Sullivan County most of her life.
Mrs. Hutton was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Marion D. Hutton; three sons, Billy DeVault, Fayetteville, N.C., Bobby Hutton, Savannah, Ga., and Wayne Hutton, Kingsport; one daughter, Barbara Hollenger, Peru, Ind.; her mother, Maude Gray, Gray; one sister, Ruth Good, Jonesborough; one brother, R.C. Gray, Jonesborough; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charley Rogers, son of the late Tom Lewis Rogers and Lillie Bell Stark Rogers, was born April 4, 1916, in Wirth, AR. He died April 4, 2004, in Salem, AR, at the age of 88 years.
He was a volunteer fireman and electrician in Thayer, MO. He was a master plumber doing contract work in Missouri and Arkansas in and around Thayer.
He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Salem, AR.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors are two sons, Paul Rogers and wife, Betty of Horseshoe Bend, AR and Thomas Rogers and wife, Susan, of Salem, AR; a daughter, Charlene Worsham and husband, Bill, of Salem, AR; step-son, Michael Rogers and wife, Elsie of St. Charles, MO; step-daughter, Lana Clark and husband, Roger, of Quincy, IL; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Watson of Thayer, MO and Flora Schaufler of West Plains, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lehman and Fred Rogers; two sisters, Ethel Gregory and an infant sister.
The funeral was April 7 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Huggart officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thayer with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer.
Pallbearers were Jim Mefford, Woodrow Hodges, George Walling, Randy Robinson, Justin Sisk and George Seaberry.

James Paul DeVault, JOHNSON CITY

James Paul DeVault, 33, of Johnson City, went to his Heavenly home on Friday, July 17, 2015, unexpectedly, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Paul was a native of Johnson City. As a young man, Paul was an excellent student, having attended Johnson City schools. He had worked at Carrabba’s, and most recently, Bonefish Grill, as an In Store Training Coordinaor.
Paul was a friend to everyone he met and was a wonderful father to his young son, Connor. Everyone that knew him considered him to be a very special person. His kindness to others echoed in his friendships, as he had many that stood by him, even at the end.
Paul is survived by: his parents, James and Glenda Hall; biological mother, Linda DeVault Carrera; son, James Connor DeVault; brothers, Matthew Carrera and Dakoda Carrera; sister, Amanda Carrera; aunts, Teresa Davis (Steven), Joy Thacker and Kathy Lee; uncle, Justin DeVault; grandparents, Justin DeVault Jr. (Marcella); special cousins, Kristen and Michael Bales; several other cousins, nieces and nephews; and too many special friends to list.
The family of James Paul DeVault will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the MorrisBaker Dogwood Chapel. Visitors are also welcome at the home of Linda Carrera, 201 Hamilton Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel under the direction of Ms. Charleen Elliott.
The committal service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 10:30 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery for those services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.

Glenda Rhea Fortner DeVault Hall, 70, of Johnson City, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Glenda was a native of the Siam Community in Elizabethton. She was a daughter of the late Rhudy A. and Mamie Estep Fortner.
She was a lifelong member of Horseshoe Free Will Baptist Church.
Glenda was loved by all who met her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to so many, proving you don’t have to be blood to be family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hall; son, James Paul DeVault; sister, Irene Shurling; and brothers, David, Larry, Worley, Lloyd, and Jimmy Fortner.
Survivors include: five children, Linda Gail Carrera, Teresa Rhea Davis (Steven), Justin Eugene DeVault, Kathy Lee (Don), Joy Thacker, and JD Loveland; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Marie Carrera, Matthew Eugene Carrera, Dakoda Carrera, Michael Bales (Katie), Kristen N.
