MARJORIE A. McDONOUGH
66, of 5541 Pleasant Chapel Road, Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, May 31, 1990 at 6:06 a.m. in Mercy Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1923, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of J. Russell and Anna (Cost) Brandle. She was retired from the Edward Wren Department Store, where she was switchboard operator. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church and previously a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her parents; her husband of 45 years, James M. McDonough; one daughter and son-in-law, Anne P. and Michael Wallace of Mechanicsburg; three sons, Dr. James M. McDonough and his wife, Mei Huang of Lexington, Kentucky, Daniel E. McDonough and his wife, Sally of Springfield, Martin D. McDonough and his wife, Susan of South Charleston; one sister, Donna Fowle of Springfield; five grandchildren, Katy McDonough and Nate McDonough of Springfield, Jennifer and Benjamin Wallace of Mechanicsburg, and Adam McDonough of South Charleston; one uncle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Martin McDonough Jr. Friends may call in the Littleton Funeral Home from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Al Towberman officiating.
Interment will be at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Catawba Emergency Squad.

McDonough, James "Jim" 91, of Mechanicsburg died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born in Clark County on April 21, 1919 the son of Patrick and Margaret (Krupp) McDonough. He had been employed as a driver for Southwest Landmark for a number of years until his retirement. Prior to that time he worked several years for the London Correctional Facility and was involved in farming and hauling livestock. Jim was a member of St. Raphael Church and the Cardinal Squares Square Dance Club. Survivors include four children and spouses, Dr. James & Mei (Huang) McDonough Jr., Lexington, KY, Dan and Bonnie McDonough, Springfield, Anne and Mike Wallace, South Vienna, OH, Martin and Susan McDonough, South Charleston, OH; five grandchildren including Katie (Ryan) McCrea, Jenny (Jeff) Pontsler, Nate (Stephanie) McDonough, Ben (Nikki) Wallace and Adam (Rachel) McDonough and five great grandchildren; sister, Margaret McDonough, four brothers, Tom, John, Paul and Michael McDonough and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie in 1990, sister, Mary Ellen Culp, brothers, Stephen, Charles, Raymond and Robert and a grandson Martin McDonough Jr. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

84, son of Anna & James Brandle, died November 26, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Muriel, a sister, Donna (Ed) Fowle, 3 children; Penny (Jeff) Barth, John Brandle, Ed (Kathy) Brandle, 6 grandchildren; Kristin, Abby, Sarah, Steve, Becky Jo, Andrew, and 9 great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Marjorie.
Mr. Brandle owned and operated Brandle’s Day Care Center for many years.
John donated his body to Wright State University. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
