Biography

Ambrose Jack "A.J." Hall was born on 11 March 1935 in Pennsylvania; his newspaper obituary says "Glenmont" Pennsylvania, which does not exist and apparently never has. "Jackie Fowler", grandson, age 5, was listed in the Daniel and Vera Crago household, alongside their son, Donald, age 16. Dorothy is not found in the 1940 census of Greene County, PA. Apparently the biological father of Ambrose Jack Hall was a Fowler. Gano Hall was unmarried and living with his parents as of the 1940 census, so it is most unlikely that Gano was the biological father of Ambrose in 1935. There may or may not have been a legal adoption of Ambrose by Gano. DLB 2024. He married Rose Marie Baker on 14 October 1967 in Glens Falls, Warren Co., NY. He died on 4 August 2006
