Connie Sue Southard of St. James, Mo. passed away at her home in St. James, Mo. on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was 52 years, 1 month, and 21 days of age.
Connie Sue Southard was born on September 18, 1966, in Phelps County, Mo. to Donald Melville and Velma (Gibson) Melville-Brooks.
Connie Sue Southard was a custodian and worked for the Public School District and 10 years with Melville Boarding and Care, taking care of mentally disabled people which was a family business.
She enjoyed being around family and friends. She liked to watch tv, comedies, and recent shows. Connie grew up in California then moved to MO in 2004 to be close to her family. She had a good kind heart. Connie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Connie Sue Southard is survived by her husband Craig Southard of St. James, MO; one son, Skyler Southard and wife Miranda of Rolla, MO; two daughters, Sara Bolin and Ashley Southard both of St. James, MO; one brother: Richard Melville and wife Toni of St. James, MO; three sisters: Robin Castillo and husband Tom of El Cajon, CA; Rhonda Rodriguez of El Cajon, CA, and Lisa Redmond and husband Andy of Rosamond, CA; along with seven grandchildren: Sadie, Connor, Brendan, Cheyenne, Logan, Gwen, and Kylie, along with 7 nephews and 5 nieces.
Connie Southard is preceded in death by her Stepfather Ed Brooks, along with one son, Johnny Iannace, and an infant daughter, Vanessa Tolbert.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Forest City Christian Church in St. James with Gene Branson officiating.
Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
