Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; the late Andrew Timothy Light and Lydia Mary (nee Southard) and four sisters; Thelma Gregory, Jeannetta Wuellner, Margie Borah and Melba Landes.
Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, 11:30 a.m. Interment Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church or Wounded Warriors Project. Visitation Saturday 10-11:30 a.m.

Rita Lewis of Union, Missouri was born September, 10, 1932 in Jennings, Missouri the daughter of the late Frank M. Southard and his wife, Mary G. Southard, nee Brendel. She passed away at her home in Union, Missouri, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the age of 82 years.
Rita received her education at Incarnate Word Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Mr. Paul A. Lewis November 8, 1952 at Corpus Christi Church in Jennings, Missouri. The couple made their home in St. Louis and moved to Union, Missouri July 1970. Rita was the bookkeeper for Brocks Chicken Inn in Union for many years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church; Board member of Franklin County Development Services; Co-Founder of Rainbow Activity Center; and delivered Meals on Wheels.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Larrison; two grandsons: Jacob Brockmiller and Ryan Wilson and one brother, Frank Southard.
Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church in Union, MO at 10:00am with Fr Joe Post officiating. Burial followed in Church Cemetery. Memorials were given to Sullivan House or Masses. Lewis family was served by the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO.
She was buried in June 2015 in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union, Franklin Co., MO, Findagrave #216119627.
