Terry E. Truesdale, age 69, of Brookville, OH, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 2, 2009 following a 5 month illness. Born August 11, 1940 in Dayton, he was a son of the late Paul & Gladys (Neaves) Truesdale. Terry retired in 2002 after 17 years with Appleton Paper Mill in West Carrollton, OH. He had previously worked 22 years for Dayton Press. Member of the American Legion in West Alexandria, OH and member of the NSRA. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles; going to auctions, flea markets and car shows. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Richard Truesdale.
Survived by wife Alice M. (Davis) Truesdale, whom he married April 14, 1961: son & daughter-in-law Tony E. & Jennifer Truesdale of Brookville, OH: daughter Susan Ussat of Beavercreek, OH: grandchildren Mandy Bonner & husband Jeff, Amy Taylor, and Holly Ussat: great grandson Cameron Bonner: brothers Robert Truesdale of Georgia; Dennis Truesdale & wife Norma of Trotwood, OH; and Joe Truesdale & wife Chris of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Pastor Clyde O. Waites presiding. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
