Jessica Ann Huffman Conner, 33, of California, passed away Dec. 28, 2016.
She was born in Xenia on March 29, 1983, the daughter of Marvin (Debbie) Huffman of Hillsboro and Gloria Grooms.
Jessica is survived by three sons, Emmanuel Cota, Raymond Conner and Aiden Conner; daughter Chanda Conner; four brothers, Lance Huffman, Steven Huffman, Joey Funk and James Funk; one sister, Brandy Blair; paternal grandfather, Charles Perry of Wilmington; paternal grandmother, Connie Huffman of Wilmington; and grandson, Jaysiah Medellin.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Donations can be made to the Thompson Funeral Home.

Emmanuel was born August 13, 1998 in Wilmington Ohio, the son of the late Jessica Ann Huffman-Conner.
Emmanuel was a 2016 graduate of Lynchburg High School. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt deer and turkey.
Emmanuel is survived by a son, Maxtyn J. Cota; two brothers, Raymond Conner of Lynchburg and Aiden Conner of Hillsboro; one sister, Chanda Conner of Fresno, California; maternal grandfather, Marvin (Debbie) Huffman of Hillsboro; maternal grandmother, Gloria Grooms of Wilmington; fiancée, Maddie Cox; three nephews, Jay, Jo and J.C. Medellin; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Brad Huffman will officiate, with burial following at the New Antioch Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.

Robert Crabtree
Robert E. Crabtree, 78, of Hillsboro, formerly of Fairborn, died Monday (Dec. 7, 1998) at the Kettering Medical Center. His wife of 52 years, Helen L. Crabtree, survives.
He was born Dec. 3, 1920, in London, son of the late Oral and Elizabeth Rutherford Crabtree. He served his county with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was later employed as a packaging specialist with Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retiring in 1973 after 30 years of dedicated government service. He was also the owner/operator of the Five Points Bicycle Shop in Fairborn.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Connie Harrison of Rosman, N.C., Judy (Jim) Spargur of Hillsboro, Linda Gum of Fairborn, and Vicki Dunihue of Mason; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Mindy, Jeff, Jesse, Jared, Wendy, Chris, Jon, Ashley, and Dillon; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Adrianna, and Kaylee; three brothers, Oral (Rose) Crabtree Jr. of Medway, Edward Crabtree of Pahrump, Nevada, and Thomas (Nancy) Crabtree of New Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lester, and a granddaughter, Lindsay Gum.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Belton funeral home in Fairborn, the Rev. John Quist officiating, with burial in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Heart Association of the American Diabetes Association.

Mary Pauline Myers, 90, of Patriot, passed away, at 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at her residence. Born December 11, 1931, in Beavercreek, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Harold and Iva Harner Trubee. She was a retired clerk for the Gallia County Auditor's Office. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Women's Auxiliary, and a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married on June 8, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio, Henry L. Myers, a stepdaughter, Christine (James "Jim") Myers-Cozza, of Gallipolis, sisters-in-law, June (Ed) Cheatham, and Charlotte Patrick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a stepson, Gregory L. Myers, brothers-in-law, Chester E. Myers, Floyd Donald Myers, Lloyd Myers, and Ronald Patrick, and a niece, Vicky Crabtree.
Private services will be held in the St. Martin Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
