JAMES E. BELL
Memorial services for James E. Bell, 76, of Kilgore, are set for 2 p.m. today in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. William J. Ingersoll officiating.
Mr. Bell died Monday in Good Shepherd Medical Center.
He was born June 28, 1920, in Harrisburg, Pa. He served in the South Pacific Theatre during World War II. He retired as an accountant for Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio. Mr. Bell moved to Kilgore in 1980. He was an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iris.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, one son, two stepdaughters, one stepson, and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lions club Crippled Children’s Camp in Kerrville.
He was cremated.
James Edward Bell began military service WW II service, U.S. Army Air Corps.

Decatur - Our beloved Leonard William Prohs, was victorious over his battle with his illness and made his journey Home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
Leonard was born April 23, 1945, in Waco. He grew up in Fort Worth, lived in Hurst for many years and last resided in Decatur, Texas. Leonard's favorite hobby was fishing and on occasion enjoyed hunting too. He served in the U.S. Air Force from September, 1964 to September, 1968. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for various airlines at DFW airport and surrounding areas for many years and was most recently an employee of American Eagle.
Survivors: Wife, Bettye Prohs of Decatur; son, Donald Prohs of Euless; daughters, Catherine and husband, Carey Brenna of Little Elm and Michelle Jones of Fort Worth; step-son, Brandon Owens of Decatur; step-daughter, Belinda Owens of Grand Prairie; granddaughter, Amber Hayes and husband, Josh of Cave Springs, Ark.; grandson, Brandon Jones of Fort Worth; sister, Sharon Rogers and husband, Rick of Bedford; brother, Louis Prohs and wife, Diane of DeSoto; one niece; and two nephews.
