JOHN GREELEY dies at age 60.

John W. Greeley, 60, of Spencer, died yesterday in Gordon Memorial Hospital at Spencer after a long illness. He was former operator of the Hickle Drug Store at Clendenin, and a former employe of Cook Drug Co. in Charleston and Hughes Drug Co. of Spencer.

A graduate of River Falls state College in Wisconsin, he was a member of Moriah Lodge 38, AF&AM, of Spencer, Spencer Moose Lodge and St. Johns Methodist church at Spencer.

A native of Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Daniel Lewis and Margaret J. "Maggie" (Floody) Greeley.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Erma Greeley, a former teacher at Central Elementary School in South Charleston; a nephew, William E. Edwards of Charleston; and several other nephews and nieces..

Service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Hardman-Conrad mortuary with Rev. Ross Evans and Rev. Kenneth King officiating..

Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery. The body is at the mortuary..
