-Became a member of Richmond Kiwanis Club in 1942, Served as president of the club in 1957, and Lieutenant Governor of Kiwanis Rose Division in 1964. He received the Tablet of Honor for exemplified dedicated service to the Kiwanis Club and the community. Gordon was a George F. Hixson Fellow of the Kiwanis International Foundation. A scholarship was named in his honor for his devoted service.

-He was a member of the Tarum Shrine and the Richmond Masonic Lodge 196.

-Gordon and his family were active in the Richmond Civic Theater. His acting credits began in 1944 in " Three's a Family "and included his role as Matthew Brady in " Inherit the Wind". He served as president of the Richmond Civic Theater and was on the board of its directors.

SERVICE

Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Clock Chapel with the Rev. Mark Jackson officiating. Interment will be made in Laketon Township Cemetery.

VISITATION

Friends may call at the Clock Funeral Home beginning at 7 o'clock this evening. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Memorial Fund of Calvary Baptist Church.
