Polly was born about 1822 in VA.³ She married Levi Six son of William Six and Margaret Musser.

Note: The only Polly Six found in the 1850 census for Wythe County was the wife of Samuel Six. She was age 49 -- less than a good match to the Polly Six found in 1860, 1870, and 1880, and no George William Six was listed in her household in 1850. (DLB 2005.)¹
