The Corydon Democrat, 4 NOV 2004 obituary:

Roscoe L. Windell, 82, Corydon, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

A native of Harrison County, born July 8, 1922, he was the son of the late Julius and Zetta Barks Windell.

He retired from Allison's in Indianapolis and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Windell.

Survivors include a brother, Art Windell of Corydon.

Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Pallbearers: Gary Kitterman, Chad Sarles, Mike Long, Mark Wallace, Donald Brunner and Orville LaHue Jr.
