Private family memorial services for Joan E. (Farris) Bloom will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton, by the Rev. Scott Johnson. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
There will be no visitation.
She died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born in Columbus to Arthur A. and Annie (Eunson) Farris. She married Joseph E. Bloom and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1998.
Surviving are four sons, Joe Jr. of Libertybille, Ill., Gary (Carol) of Houston, Texas, Rick (Inez) of Somerdale, N.J. and Dennis (Tedi) of Breckeville, Maine; five grandchildren; two sister, Wanda Fellows of Florida and Bett Schiffer of Lima; a half-brother, Robert (Jessie) Neeson of Ft. Myers, Fla, and a half-sister, Atlsa (Jerry) Thompson of Marion.
She was preceded in death by a half-sister.
She was a homemaker and worked for Excello in Lima.
