"Karl A. Bloom Rites Saturday

Funeral services for Karl A. Bloom, 80, of Route 3, Buck Township, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Fr. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Bloom died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Hardin Memorial Hospital where he had been since Friday.

A retired farmer, he had resided his lifetime in Hardin County.

Born in Kenton, Aug. 26, 1890, he was a son of Lewis and Mary Jane (McCann) Bloom.

He first married Margaret Elizabeth Carruthers in 1913 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 1929.

(Mildred) Schrupp of Denver, Mrs. Mary Wortman of Kenton, Mrs. Donald (Louise) Norman of Route 3, Kenton, Mrs. Richard (Rachel) Osbun of Route 5, Kenton; 27 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

One son, a daughter, two brothers, and two sisters preceded him. Friends will be received at the Schindewolf Memorial Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Rosary will be rerecited at 8 p.m. Friday."
