The 14 MAY 1915 edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch had an announcement on page 19 that Cyrus B. More was engaged to Edna Delafield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Delafield. They were married and had a daughter, Betty, as of the 1920 census. Edna died on 9 NOV 1925. Lucy Sturgis raised Betty and Lucy's name was given as Betty's mother in Betty's 1971 obituary. Betty married Peter S. Krebs in 1940 at Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lucia Sturges More had no biological children.

Cyrus Burnham More died in September 1955.

He was buried in 1955 in Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, MO, Findagrave #195459175.
