Former Brookfield resident Harold L. Cochran, 83, Columbia, died Monday, Dec. 13, at University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia.
He was an owner-salesman of industrial chemicals for Noramtech (North American Chemical Company).
Mr. Cochran was born Oct 24, 1910, in Monett, son of Harry A. and Vivian (Almegourd) Cochran.
He and Eleanor N. Williams were married Aug. 29, 1936, at Ft. Smith, Ark. She survives, of Columbia.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, with the Rev. Rick Frost officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
He was a member of Broadway Christian Church, Columbia, and the Masonic Lodge of Brookfield.
He served in the Army in the south Atlantic, in World War II.
Also surviving are a son, Richard L. Cochran, Toledo, Ohio; two daughters, Carolyn Best, Ellisville, and Cathleen Hutchinson, Princeton, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
He was buried in December 1993 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, Boone Co., MO, Findagrave #51370855.
