Agnew C. (Pat) LeFevre, 84 of Port Orchard died Feb 2 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton.

He was born Dec. 14, 1912, in Sebring, Ohio, where he was raised and educated. He married Virginia LeFevre in 1942 in St. Augustine, Fla.

LeFevre was an infantryman in the Army during World War II.

He worked as a plumber for 50 years.

Survivors include his wife; sons Thomas and Richard, both of Florida; a daughter, Kathleen of Utah; and 11 grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.

Agnew Carroll LeFevre was also known as "Pat" LeFevre. He began military service WW II, U.S. Army, Infantry.

Mrs. Maggie M. Forney, wife of William B. Forney, died at her home, 514 Baltimore Street, at 1:30 A.M. today following an illness since last March. She was aged 64 years and was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Bowers) Scheivert. The deceased was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Baltimore Street. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Miss Louise M. Forney, at home: one son, Beecher W. Forney, Elizabethtown; four sisters, Mrs. Thomas Miller, Mrs. William Blettner, Mrs. Austin Storm and Mrs. Joseph Hertz, all of Hanover, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held from the late home friday morning at 8:30 o'clock followed by a high mass of requiem in St. Joseph's Church at 9 A.M. The Rev Edward J. O'Flynn, pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home Thursday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.

HANOVER - Louise M. Wagner, 88, of Hanover, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Herbert C. Wagner, to whom she was married for 44 years.

The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wagner was born July 12, 1910, in Hanover. She was the daughter of the late William B. and Maggie M. (Schievert) Forney.

She was a cashier at the former Montgomery Ward Store in Hanover, retiring in 1967 after 35 years of service. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Mrs. Wagner also is survived by a brother, Beecher W. Forney of Albuquerque, N.M.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Eric P. Wogen.

She was buried in October 1998 in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York Co., PA.

OBITUARY - Find-A-Grave

Herbert C. Wagner, 88, of Hanover, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Forney) Wagner.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. David E. Cox will officiate. The Allied Veterans Council of Hanover will provide Military Honors at the cemetery.

Born Nov. 11, 1914, he was the son of the late Horace and Sadie (Wildasin) Wagner.

He retired from Snyder's of Hanover after many years of service.

As an Army sergeant during World War II, he served as a light machine gunner with the 776th Amphibious Tank Battalion in the Pacific Theatre of operations and was awarded the Philippines Liberation Ribbon with two bronze stars and the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Service Medal with two bronze stars and one bronze arrowhead.

He was a member of the Hanover Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was buried in January 2003 in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York Co., PA.
