Jessie A. Jackson, 95, of Shelbyville, died at 2:05 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Manor.
Jackson was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Shelby County. She was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 9 p.m Sunday. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.
Born August 5, 1895 in Carwood, Jackson was the daughter of Fred and Sara E. Johnson Coombs. She married Sylvester N. Wilson on June 4, 1918. He died June 12, 1953. She married Fred Jackson on Dec. 8, 1957. He died May 26, 1980.
Survivig are sons Robert Wilson of Bremen, Russell Wilson of Nineveh, Ray Wilson of Shelbyville and Harold Wilson of Lexington, N.C.; daughter Dorothy Furgeson of Shelbyville; a stepdaughter, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
She was buried in May 1991 in Miller Cemetery, Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN, Findagrave #93234701.

Hugh Fleenor
Hugh Fleenor, 85, Little York, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.
He was a member of Little York Christian Church and the Little York Masonic Lodge.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he also was a retired lineman and truck driver of Public Service Indiana.
He was born June 6, 1915, in Washington County, to Jesse and Nora Johnson Fleevor.
His wife, the former Faye I. Craig, survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Dale Fleenor, Little York; two daughters, Judy Allen, Little York, and Jeannie Tscheulin, Scottsburg, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Masonic service was held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Bro. Greg Shuler and Bro. George Trueblood officiating.
Burial followed in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Little York Christian Church.
Note: The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren mentioned in the above obituary are Hugh's wife's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren from previous marriages. Hugh apparently did not have any biological children of his own.
He was buried in February 2001 in Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg, Scott Co., IN.
Hugh Fleenor began military service World War II, U.S. Army.
