Edwin Artz.

Edwin Artz, aged 69 years, of Augusta, Ill., died very suddenly last Sunday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. D. D. Waldeck, in this city. Mr. Artz accompanied by Mrs. Waldeck had visited the Omaha exposition and enroute home had made a several days sojourn with Maryville, Mo., friends. He had been an invalid for several years and during the trip he contracted a cold which proved fatal to his enfeebled frame.

Mr. and Mrs. Waldeck left Sunday evening with the remains, the funeral occurring Wednesday morning at the family residence in Augusta, Ill.
