Ruth L. Greenman, age 69, of Tecumseh died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Tecumseh Place II in Tecumseh. She was born April 1, 1945, in Tecumseh to Bernard L. and Lila I. (Matthews) Furgason. She had been employed by General Motors for more than 35 years. On Feb. 17, 1973, she married Lewis Greenman in Benton Harbor. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2000. Ruth had an adventurous spirit, she enjoyed traveling, camping, riding motorcycles, spending time with her family and flying with her husband in their private plane. Ruth is survived by her children, Lewis D. (Adele) Greenman of Adrian, Linda (Bob) Warner of Tecumseh, Kenneth Winzeler of Tecumseh, Shelly (Craig) Benson of Dayton, Ohio, and Tom Greenman of Tecumseh; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary (Elton) Cox, Jodi Ross and Shirley (Stan) Schadewald; and a brother, Bill Furgason. In addition to her husband, Lewis, she was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, following the service. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
