She married James William Windle, son of Fielding Windle and Nancy Kerr Young, in 1894, The 1900 census erroneously (and very confusingly) lists 40 years of marriage for this couple, however the confusion is cleared up by the 1910 census which shows them married for 15 years. WV Marriages Index shows the marriage in 1894. DLB 2016.1 Margaret Ellen Squires died on 15 November 1922 in Flatwoods, Braxton Co., WV.
