She was born April 18, 1923 in Danville to Elmer Stewart and Aulta Bernice Keist Garrison. She married Donald Ray Clippinger on March 14, 1940 in Danville. He preceded her March 10, 1976. She was also preceded by her parents; her daughter, Diane Reeves; two sisters, June and Marcia and three brothers, Verneal, Merle and Robert.
