SUMMERFIELD -- Helen Geneva Reed, 57, of Lewisville, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1987, at Guernsey Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born March 21, 1930 in Monroe County to Joseph J. and Jessie Wyscarver Wehr.

She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Reed, whom she married Feb. 19, 1946; five sons, Gene of Athens, Gary of Woodsfield, Roger of Lewisville, Randy of Ravenna and John of Columbus; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Judy) Yontz of Summerfield, Patricia Reed and Mrs. Gregory (Brenda) Archer, both of Woodsfield; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Joseph J. Wehr of Canton; and three sisters, Lucille Casey of Cambridge, Ruth Rubel and Georgia Norman, both of Canton.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home in Summerfield, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Harold Green officiating.
