Obituary (findagrave.com):

Justus A. Exline, 77, of 317 South Jameson Avenue, retired Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in Saint Rita's Hospital where he had been admitted a few hours earlier after suffering a heart attack.

He was a native of Liberty Township, Van Wert County, and had worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad before becoming associated with the Pennsylvania. At one time he had been an engineer for the latter railroad, then became a conductor. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.

For five years, Mr. Exline was an employee of the United States Government in the Panama Canal Zone during the construction of the canal.

Surviving are his widow, Isabel Morrison Exline; three brothers, Earl, 308 Seriff Road; Alfeus and Eugene, and two sisters, Misses Florence and Princess Exline, all of Jacksonville, Florida.

The body will be removed to the residence to remain for services at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Reverend Philip Sorce will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Davis-Miller & Son Funeral Home.

The family suggests that those who wish may contribute to the American Heart Fund instead of sending flowers.
