Vurlon L. Flatt

Graveside services for Vurlon L. "Vee" Flatt, 95, Ardmore, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rosehill Cemetery with Dwight Edwards officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.

Born Jan 11, 1908, to Walter E. and Maude Pennell Lee in Alvord, Texas, she died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in a local nursing home. She married Glenn D. Flatt on Aug. 4, 1928, in Wilson. He preceded her in death March 1, 1978. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Hale, Dec. 3, 1996; and a daughter, Glenda Morrison.

Mrs. Flatt was a resident of Ardmore for the past 36 years, coming here from Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Memorial Christian Church.

Survivors include three grandsons, one granddaughter, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was buried in December 2003 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Carter Co., OK, Find A Grave Memorial# 21983805.
