His headstone shows 1877.1 He married Athletta Hatfield, daughter of Reuben Elza Hatfield and Mary J., on 18 October 1900 in Woods Co., OK. Bert B. Ross died on 15 August 1946.

He was buried in August 1946 in Riverside Cemetery, Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., TX, Findagrave #59920587.
