Marguerite E. Osterholt
Marguerite E. Osterholt, 79, Marion, died Wednesday at MedCenter Hospital.
Born May 26, 1917, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Willard G. and Wilma (Wendell) Clark.
On June 16, 1946, in Marion, she married William H. Osterholt Jr., and he survives in Marion.
A homemaker, she was a member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church and active in its missions program, lifetime member of Daughter of America, member Ladies Auxiliary of Air Force Senior Sergeants and Marion Senior Center.
She is also survived by two sons, Greg Osterholt, Virginia Beach, Va., and Michael Osterholt, Marion; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Fite Memorial Baptist Church with the Revs. Thomas Lasley and David Carlyle officiating. Burial is in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Boyd Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the missions program at Fite Memorial Baptist Church.

William H. Osterholt, Jr.
Humble, Texas -- William H. Osterholt, Jr., age 90, formerly of Vancouver Drive in Marion, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 6006, at the Northeast Medical Center in Humble.
He was born Nov. 8, 1916, in Marion to the late William H. and Carrie (Knight) Osterholt Sr. On June 16, 1946, in Marion, he married Marguerite E. (Clark) and she preceded him in death on April 29, 1997, in Marion.
A member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church, he was a resident of Marion most of his life, also residing in Texas, Florida, and Germany. Bill served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force for 26 years and later worked as a dietition in the pharmacy at the Marion Correctional Institution for 10 yeras and Sims Bros. at the Rose Avenue Whirlpool Warehouse for five years.
He is survived by two sons, Greg (Diane) Osterholt of Kingwood, Texas, and Michael (Shirley) Osterholt of Marion; a brother, Hollis Osterholt, and a sister, Martha Woy, both of Marion; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Charles and Emmett, and a sister, Emma Bayles.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at the Fite Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. David Carlyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Boyd Funderal Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fite Memorial Baptist Church.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The service was in Las Vegas where interment was at Palm Memorial Park, for Thomas C. Clark, 67, formerly of Marion.
The brother of a Marion resident, he died unexpectedly June 4, in his Las Vegas home.
He was born May 28, 1915, in Cambridge, coming as a child to Marion, which was his home until about 16 years ago, when he moved to Las Vegas.
Before retiring as a chief warrant officer, he served in the U.S. Army 20 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The member of Marion Lodge 70 F&AM is survived by his wife, Helen Nemes Clark, a son Willard Clark, Las Vegas, and a sister, Marguerite Osterholt, Marion.

Kenneth Wayne Andrews, 79, of Checotah, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Muskogee Veteran's Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1932 in Sayre, Oklahoma the son of Ernest Lee and Ella Mae Andrews. He graduated from Sayre High School in Sayre, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the United States Army on April 17, 1953 and was honorably discharged on February 28, 1961in San Francisco, California. In 1954, Kenneth married Chloe Andrews. They were happily married for fifty-three years. She preceded him in death in 2007. On May 9, 2008, Kenneth married Wanda June Cole Morgan in Claremore, Oklahoma. Kenneth worked as a machinist. He was a long time member of the Terra Star R. V. Park in Checotah. He loved country and gospel music and played with a lot of groups and jammed with a lot of musicians in South Texas when he spent the winters there. He also played at Terra Star for Sunday Worship Service with his wife Wanda. He was a member of the Eufaula First Free Will Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Beulah and Ernestine and his first wife, Chloe.
